27th Colloquium on Fatigue Mechanisms

Dear colleagues, dear friends,


we cordially invite you to participate in the 27th Colloquium on Fatigue Mechanisms, which will take place from March 22 - 23, 2016 (Tuesday - Wednesday) at University of Vienna, within the building of the Faculty of Physics.
The scope of the Colloquium lies on fatigue mechanisms in crystalline materials. As in the previous years, there will be

  • full length (20+5 min) and short contributions (12+3 min)
  • no proceedings
  • no conference fee

Please, inform all your colleagues who are interested to participate with a contribution and who are not included in our mailing list. We are looking forward to receiving your response by February 22, 2016, by e-mail and attached registration form.

The deadline February 22, 2016 also applies to the hotel reservations, if you want to make use of the room contingents and prices we negotiated for you in three hotels of different categories. In this case, please use the forms attached (link) for your reservation, and send it to the e-mail addresses indicated. For all three hotels, the conference venue is in walking distance (less than 10 minutes). For more informations on these hotels, please see their websites

We plan to publish the final program by beginning of March.
